PNWJETAA Shinnenkai 2014

It's time for JETAA to ring in the new year with our annual Shinnenkai! We are hosting our event at the Nagomi Tea House located in the heart of the International District. Tickets for the event are only $20 if you pre-register, or $25 if you buy tickets at the door. Children are free!

This will be a light, yet very fun event to start off the New Year. We will be serving a light dinner (banquet style), along with NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages. This is one of our biggest, kid friendly events of the year and we encourage all former JETs with children to attend. We had about 3 families with children last year and they had a blast falling on the pebble garden and winning some raffle prizes. There will also be karaoke after the event at Venus. It's BYODrinks after we leave the Nagomi Tea House, and anything goes. Space can be limited, so please let us know whether you plan on attending the second party.

We're bringing the raffle back again this year and hoping for a child's entertainment corner (taiko maybe) to keep the lil'uns occupied!!! We're also shooting for the stars and pursuing options for a brief musical performance, but don't hold us to that standard. We also want to take the chance to have everyone vote on next year's steering counsel members and to have aspiring volunteers run as well. We should be able to wrap up the business portion of the meeting quickly!
