Set one: Jazz/Rock Fusion music of Jose Luis Barajas, (pianist/composer direct from Mexico City) featuring Walter White. Hank Horton bass, Al Ayoub guitar, Rob Mulligan drums. Set two and three will be hot Latin-Jazz for dancing. Salsa. Cha Cha, merengue, bolero.
Walter White has been an in-demand trumpet player for over 30 years. He's played live and in the studio with many of the top names in the industry, is a band leader, educator, commissioned composer, arranger, studio owner, engineer, and music producer.
Walter is noted for his rich sound, precision, and range on trumpet and flugelhorn. Known for quick turn-around time in the studio, effortless sight-reading, thinking quickly on feet, creating arrangements on the spot, finding solutions.
Currently lead trumpet for Mahattan Jazz Orchestra directed by David Matthews, past associations includes the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Arturo Sandoval, Mingus Big Band, Bob James, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and Maynard Ferguson.
