After having a successful 40-year career as a clinical psychologist, GEORGE SALTZ came out of retirement to try doing stand-up. He was nearly 80 years old, but the passion had always been there. On March 28, 2014, his story was featured in the Daily News. George was named the Funniest Jewish Comic in NYC and the Funniest Comic in the Mid-Hudson Valley! He is currently starring in the award-winning documentary "Still Standing" along with Natalie K. Levant, that premiered at the Lower East Side Film Festival in July. He is frequently featured at COMIC STRIP LIVE as well as other major comedy clubs in New York and the region. Today he celebrates his 88th birthday and seventh year of performing stand-up comedy.
