2014 Beginning Beekeepers Class
The 2014 Beginning Beekeepers Class is taking on a new format this year. We're going to have a full day of useful information that covers the spectrum from why you want to keep bees to choosing and buying your equipment to learning what to look for as you make routing hive inspection through the year. We're going to give you the best possible information to get you off on the right foot and give your new colonies the best chances to survive their first winter and for you to become a successful beeKEEPER and not just a beeHAVER.
The registration fee for the Beginning Beekeeper Class includes your first year Heart of Illinois Beekeepers Association dues, lunch, and class materials and handouts.
