Chef's Night Out
Join us on Sunday, November 8th, 2009 for the Eleventh Annual Chefs Night Out Culinary & Wine Experience at The Golf Club at Newcastle! This once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience features a five-course dinner with wine pairings, personally prepared and served to each table by one of fifteen renowned Seattle-area chefs.
All proceeds benefit Operation Frontline (OFL) Seattle a partnership of Solid Ground and Share Our Strength. OFL is a direct outreach program providing culinary, nutrition and budget planning classes to Washington State families at risk of hunger and malnutrition. Classes are taught at local community centers, food banks, schools, and transitional housing sites, and provide practical hands-on experience with cooking, nutrition, and budget planning.
Chef's Night Out accounts for over half of OFLs annual budget, and thanks to participating restaurants and chefs, and our sponsors Charlie's Produce and Whole Foods, 100% of the nights proceeds go directly back into OFL.
Participating Restaurants & Chefs: * Chef Bobby Moore (Barking Frog at Willows Lodge) * Chef Scott Lents (bin on the lake) * Chef Mike Duppenthaler (Blue Ribbon Cooking LLC) * Chef Carisa Butterworth and Chef Matthew Whinihan (Calcutta Grill at The Golf Club at Newcastle) * Chef Tiffany Layco & Chef Erica Jacobs (Library Bistro/Bookstore Bar/Alexis Hotel) * Chef Angela Rudig (Lola of Tom Douglas Restaurants) * Chef Jonathan Zimmer & Chef Seth Hammond (Pomegranate Bistro/Lisa Dupar Catering) * Chef Frank Lucarelli (Red House Beer, Wine and Tapas) * Chef Jack Strong (Salish Lodge & Spa) * Chef Jordan Mackey & John Roberts (Six Seven Restaurant) * Chef Peter Kelly & Chef Kris Evans (Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar) * Chef Jose Guzman (Taberna del Alabardero) * Chef Matt Dillon (The Corson Buildign) * Chef Greg Campbell (Third Floor Fish Cafe) * Chef Dean Shinagawa (Tulalip Bay Restaurant) *
