Movement Continuum Presents Curated | Paducah, KY
Whether alone in a small gallery, bumping shoulders to catch a glimpse in a national museum, or strolling past while they stood still, you've spent time with paintings. Before they were frozen in frame, they moved. Movement Continuum, Lexington's longest-running contemporary dance company re-imagines the art we've all seen, life-sized. In Curated, Movement Continuum creates living restorations of 13 pieces of original artwork through contemporary dance. MC's audience will experience the culture-changing works of Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, Johannes Vermeer and others come to life before their eyes.
