Understandin plant science can inform your food choices and your kitchen skills. Jim Folsom, the Telleen/Jorgensen Director of the Botanical Gardens, leads a lab-based class on topics ranging from fruits and vegetables to the sugar arts, with hands-on opportunities for participants to temper chocolate, make tamale masa, and bake bread.
