RENT, School Edition
RENT follows a year in the lives of seven friends living the disappearing Bohemian lifestyle in New York's East Village. AIDS and both its physical and emotional complications pervade the lives of Roger, Mimi, Tom, and Angel. A talented young cast pours their heart and soul into amazing songs, including SEASONS OF LOVE and LA VIE BOHEME. Rent, School Edition, is thrilled to be part of the Rogue Festival, and performances will continue through March 15th.
Daniel Chavez Jr., who recently directed and starred in The Rocky Horror Show with Artists Repertory Theater, directs RENT. He has been Musical Theater director at California Arts Academy for four years.
