Landfall NYC Screening

Come join us for an intimate screening of Kate Weare and Jack Sorokins award-winning short film Landfall, alongside a discussion with the artists about their unfolding adventures in filmmaking since 2019.

Weare and Sorokin share early film studies and discuss their collaborative development over the last several years. The evening culminates in a screening of Landfall, their short dance film that won Best Experimental Short at the Paris Short Film Festival and Best Cinematography at Toronto-based Experimental Dance and Music Film Festival. Landfall also screened at The Jacksonville Dance Film Festival, The Maryland Film Festival, The Austin Dance Film Festival, The Montreal Independent Film Festival, and American Dance Festivals Movies by Movers.
