Meals on Heels 2022
Meals on Heels is a night of food, fun and fashion to support Meals on Wheels in the Twin Cities. Attendees enjoy chef-selected menu tastings from some of the finest local restaurants! The price of the ticket also grants you entrance into the Swank Soles Competition for the most stylish or most creative shoes as chosen by our distinguished judges and voted on by the audience.
Food & Drink:
Our Meals on Heels restaurants provide delicious samples for your enjoyment throughout the evening, which is included in the ticket price. Your ticket also includes two drink tickets. V.I.P tickets include a private bar with complimentary beer and wine all night long.
Shoes & Prizes:
Wear your best, favorite, or most imaginative shoes for a chance to be named the Grand Champion of Swank Soles!
The food is complimentary, but don't forget to bring cash for our raffle. A suite of fantastic raffle packages will be up for grabs!
Tickets are $45 before July 1 and will increase to $50 at that time. A limited number of V.I.P tickets are available. Save $5 off each ticket with a friend four-pack of tickets.
About the cause:
100% of the proceeds from the event benefit Metro Meals on Wheels. Metro Meals on Wheels is the association of 32 Meals on Wheels programs in the Twin Cities metro area. With our program partners, we lead the effort to make sure people in our community receive the nutritious meals and the human connection they need to enable them live independently.
Meals on Heels COVID-19 Policy:
Meals on Wheels requires proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination (and booster if applicable) OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 48 hours prior to the event. This simple measure helps minimize risk and the spread of the virus, enhancing the safety of our guests, staff, and volunteers.
What forms of proof are accepted at Meals on Heels?
Proof of vaccination may include the physical card(s), a photo of a complete vaccination card, or the Docket mobile immunization app (approved by the state of MN Health Department) that matches the guests ID.
What if you're not vaccinated?
Guests who aren't vaccinated must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 48 hours prior to the event. Proof must include the name of the person tested, type of test performed and date of negative test result. Self-reported (at-home) negative test records are not acceptable.
More helpful information and resources for providing proof of vaccination or negative tests can be found at mealsonheelsevent.org.
What if you're exposed to COVID and can't attend?
If you're sick, in quarantine, or have had a close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. You can contact us for a refund or consider your ticket purchase a donation to Meals on Wheels. A donation receipt can be issued upon request.
What if Meals on Heels is canceled?
In the event that Meals on Wheels cancels the event, you will receive a 100% refund. Refunds will be issued within 30 business days of cancellation notice.
