"Power, Money and Sex ... Oh Yeah, and Love," written by Sally Kinka, is a dark comedy and "almost musical" ensemble piece. It features characters who are compilations of some of the worst industrial titans of the nineteenth century, mixed with unassuming, yet all-knowing, characters. This eclectic romp feels like a who-done-it, replete with all the quirks, bastards and mores of the Industrial Age--an era where the wealth inequality gap grew by leaps and bounds. Do these characters resonate today? You bet they do!
