The Joy of Cheese Presents the 8 Best French Cheeses in NYC
Please join us Sunday afternoon February 8 at 1:30 at Nectar Wine Bar, 2235 Frederick Douglass Blvd, for a tasting of the 8 Best French cheeses in New York City. We will sample outstanding Comte, St. Nectaire, Roquefort, Tomme De Savoie, and several other cheeses that confirm France's status as a cheesemaking superpower. Our discussion will center on the history of French cheesemaking and the diversity of styles. In addition, attendees will get program notes with information on the cheeses and their availability, and there will be dark chocolate, fruit and a mystery cheese or two. Admission to the tasting is $25 and you pay for your wines as you go.
