Kick off your festival weekend in fun and energetic style at the ceilidh dance with 422 Dance Band and a bar provided by Rothbury's very own micro-pub, The Narrow Nick. All are welcome and no ceilidh-dancing experience necessary as a 'caller' will guide you through the dances. The most fun you can have with comfortable shoes on.
422 are a folk and ceilidh band based in the North East of England. They play music from all over the world with a northern English bias. Since winning the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 1999, they have released 4 albums and have a wealth of experience of playing for dancing. They know exactly how to give the tunes that extra swing to make you want to dance!
