Art Deco Society of Los Angeles Party at The Record Parlour
Join us for the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles' first Cocktails in Historic Places event of the new year. This one celebrates the 80th anniversary of the end of Prohibition in America. It directly follow a screening of THE ROARING TWENTIES (1939) and a lecture on Prohibition in Los Angeles.
Following the lecture, join us at the Record Parlour (6408 Selma Ave., Hollywood) for libations and live music from Hedgehog Swing in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the repeal of the Volstead Act. Members of the American Cinematheque and Art Deco Society can RSVP for themselves and one guest to obtain entry to this "speakeasy."
This is a free event and no tickets will be sold. It is private event for members of the host organizations and one guest per member. All guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
Art Deco Society Members: You must RSVP to annual meeting to obtain entry to the movie & lecture earlier in the day, at the Egyptian Theatre. A code to register was sent to you via e-mail.
If you have friends who wish to attend, but are not members of the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles, or the American Cinematheque, they can join either organization online and will receive an invitation. http://www.adsla.org or http://www/egyptiantheatre.com

If the event is not at capacity, current members may come to the door with their membership card on the day of the event and will be admitted, space permitting.
