California Olive Oil Tasting Olio Nuovo, Nuovo Anno!
Please join us for a unique opportunity to taste some of California's best olive oils. Hosted by Maia Hirschbein, this workshop will address diverse aspects of California olive oil. Learn the basics on how to taste varieties of oils, and the background on California olive oils.
For this class we have the honor of 4 olive farmers joining us to talk about their oils while sampling multiple oils, from our pantry and beyond!
Deergnaw- a small artisanal producer
Olivino- a Healdsburg miller
Riebli Point Ranch- award winning oil producer
Il Fiorello, a grower and miller out of Fairfield making an all-time favorite olive oil
and two producers with their olio nuovo,a specialty this time of year:
