Helltown - A Comedy Showcase 4/15
Welcome to Helltown, a weekly comedy show case featuring the best local and professional comedians from across the country. Each week Bombs Away! Comedy presents 3 featuring comedians and 1 headliner, all of whom are comedians we love and can't wait for you to see. If you have ever wanted to say "I saw them when" this is your 'when'.

Brett Hiker and Zac Maas
Brett Hiker was a regular guy until ten years ago when he was bitten by a stray comedian. Since, Hiker has spent the last decade telling jokes in theaters, clubs, and music venues across North America. His comedy has found its way to television on Fox, Comcast, and the CW as well as the Aspen, Limestone, and High Plains Comedy Fests. He is an avid fan of dive bars, legos, large dogs, soft drugs, snowstorms, carharts, Wiffle Ball, Toaster Strudels, silly hats, open containers, vintage hockey teams, pillow forts, day drinking, breakfast food, and nothing else. Although Brett was raised by a pack of mountain folk in Colorado, he now lives and tells jokes in NYC where against his will he gets meaner and funnier by the day.
In 2019, Zac appeared on Spaghetti High on Adult Swim. He is a regular at The World Famous Comedy Works, and in 2018, Thrillist called him one of the 50 best-undiscovered comedians in the country. Zac founded the Denver Phone It In Film Festival in 2016 and in 2021, the Black Hills Comedy Festival.

Why Helltown?
In the late 1800s, our beloved community of #Northside45223 was nicknamed Helltown, because of the immigrant and unwelcome population and its rowdy bars. It was seen as a negative moniker. At Bombs Away! We believe that the unwelcome, the rapscallions, the neer-do-wells and the rowdy taverns are what make Northside home.

Time - 7:30PM, Seating at 6:30
Tickets - This show is pay what you want. When you reserve your seats, you are able to pay what you would like for the show. Want a free show? We won't judge you! We will also accept cash, credit, venmo, and cashapp at the door

The Venue - The Comet, one of Northside's oldest bars, has two beautiful stages. As long as the weather is cooperating, the show will be on The Grotto Stage, and outdoor stage behind The Comet. If weather is inclement, we will be inside at the Comet Stage. We will email people with reservations instructions day of the show.

The Venue does not have a dedicated parking lot, but if you require handicap parking please email us at info@bombsawaycomedy.com with your request and we can reserve a parking space in front of the venue.
Shows at the Comet Stage (inside) there is one small step to enter the venue.
Shows at the Grotto Stage (outside) are accessible without any steps. However there are steps entering and exiting the venue to get to the bar.
