CANCELLED A one day Introduction to Permaculture and regenerative food growing
UNFORTUNATELY NOW CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF TICKET SALES
Spend a day in the stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) North Downs area in East Kent with Permaculture expert Jo Barker and Ed, Rebel Farmer. Set on a Regenerative agriculture demonstration homestead of 3 acres expect to be enlightened and inspired in the ways of small scale food production using permaculture principles. Jo has a diploma in Permaculture design and has been an amazing ambassador to permaculture for many years. Her teaching methods and incredible knowledge for the subject are inspirational and extremely effective for people of all levels.
This introduction to the concept of Permaculture will be explored through the lens of Regenerative farming and food growing. We will see how permaculture principles found in the natural work can be applied to growing food and all of our human activities. We will understand how nature based solutions increase biodiversity, improve wellbeing and are low carbon.
Permaculture thinking can give us hope, more importantly it gives us tools to design solutions whatever the problem. An empowering antidote to the uncertain times we are in.
A super-local vegan lunch will be provided.
