Unlikely lessons are learned from a faulty magic wand, a fake Santa, a magical flying chicken and a surprise in a houseplant.
David Boyle has performed his original stories at This Much Is True, Story Lab, Essay Fiesta, Story Sessions, Adult Education, Ragdale Ring Series, Here's The Story, Hump Night and in the side project's 2013 storytelling festival "The Kindness Of Strangers' and he hosts the monthly event "Solo Saturdays" in the south loop. His 2010 solo play "An Accidental Organist" was recommended by the Chicago Reader's Tony Adler who wrote "The piece as a whole is a well wrought mix of wit, cussedness, close observation and earned emotion." Well known Chicago actor Rob Fagin directs.
