I Met a Man in Jenin - RHINOFEST 2014
Four generations ago the Lepawsky family left the Pale of Settlement and, like thousands of other Jews, landed in Chicago. This resettlement led to the mingling of the races and eventually Noah Lepawsky. As a child he was greatly influenced by the political tradition of his predecessors, and in the summer of 2005 this led him to the front lines of the Israeli Occupied Territories. I Met a Man in Jenin is a first-hand account of his confrontation with identity, power and an individual's place between them.
PERFORMED BY Noah Lepawsky
