The Dumb Waiter / In the Moment - RHINOFEST 2014
First, two hit-men await their assignment in a dingy basement room in The Dumb Waiter. Tension builds as questions are asked, but not answered. When their target finally arrives, both men question their roles in this classic dark comedy.
After, In The Moment seeks to explore the experience of theatrical performance from the perspective of those directly involved in providing it. This original piece attempts to demonstrate and interpret the relationship between performers, their audience, and society as a whole.
