It's September 1934 and the Cleveland Grand Opera Company is primed to welcome world famous, Tito Morelli, Il Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation, to appear for one night only as Otello. The star arrives late and then passes out! In a hilarious series of mishaps opera company manager, Saunders, and his sidekick,Max, contrive a crazy plan in a frantic attempt to salvage the evening. Romance, jealousy, celebrity worship and backstage shenanigans make this a night to remember! This madcap, screwball comedy is guaranteed to leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter.
