SDCDA Spring Recitals for 2022
Welcome to our 2022 Recital Season! For many students this recital is a "debut", their very first theatrical experience. For some, it is an exciting culmination of the year's recreational activity. For others, it is but a stepping stone on the road to a possible career in dance. Whatever the stage of development, the staff's goal for our students is to instill in all a lifelong love for dance arts.
Each recital show is unique, highlighting dancers from different recreation centers citywide, and culminates in a 25 minute dance production that tells a story. This years recital production is called Escape: Feeling overwhelmed by school, family obligations and day to day drudgery of life in, join our dancers as they Escape to their happier place!
