Event
Vipassana Meditation
Vipassana Meditation or Insight Meditation is a technique from the Theravada tradition of Burma which helps us to see clearly. These sitting and walking meditation techniques will be taught through guided meditations, a 35-minute sitting (in chairs or on cushions), and a Dharma talk addressing questions and various dharma topics.
People of all experience levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced meditators. The class takes place indoors. Doors will close promptly at 7:05 p.m. in order to create a quiet place for practice, so please be on time.
This is a donation-based meeting; the suggested minimum offering is $10, but any amount is appreciated by the instructor. Registration is preferred but not required.
