Helltown - A Comedy Showcase
Welcome to Helltown, a weekly comedy show case featuring the best local and professional comedians from across the country. Each week Bombs Away! Comedy presents 3 featuring comedians and 1 headliner, all of whom are comedians we love and can't wait for you to see. If you have ever wanted to say "I saw them when" this is your 'when'.

March 19th Showcase
Headliner - Mark Chalifoux
Mark Chalifoux is a stand-up comedian and writer. Chalifoux, called a hilarious up-and-comer by College Humor, has been featured on FOX and IFC as well as on the Bob and Tom national radio show. His Midwestern upbringing contributes to the laid-back, relatable style that belies a sharp-wit and unflinching honesty honed through his rise in the comedy clubs of New York City. His debut album, Think Fast, opened at No. 2 in Apple Music and was called one of the funniest albums of the year by the Daily Dot. His jokes can be heard regularly on SiriusXM and have been streamed more than 1 million times on Pandora.
Chalifoux is also one of the writers for The Dad, one of the most popular new entertainment brands on social media with more than 10 million followers. He has also written for ESPN, The Baltimore Sun, The Cincinnati Enquirer and CBS Digital.

Why Helltown?
In the late 1800s, our beloved community of #Northside45223 was nicknamed Helltown, because of the immigrant and unwelcome population and its rowdy bars. It was seen as a negative moniker. At Bombs Away! We believe that the unwelcome, the rapscallions, the neer-do-wells and the rowdy taverns are what make Northside home.

Time - 7:30PM, Seating at 6:30
Tickets - This show is pay what you want. When you reserve your seats, you are able to pay what you would like for the show. Want a free show? We won't judge you! We will also accept cash, credit, venmo, and cashapp at the door

The Venue - The Comet, one of Northside's oldest bars, has two beautiful stages. As long as the weather is cooperating, the show will be on The Grotto Stage, and outdoor stage behind The Comet. If weather is inclement, we will be inside at the Comet Stage. We will email people with reservations instructions day of the show.

The Venue does not have a dedicated parking lot, but if you require handicap parking please email us at info@bombsawaycomedy.com with your request and we can reserve a parking space in front of the venue.
Shows at the Comet Stage (inside) there is one small step to enter the venue.
Shows at the Grotto Stage (outside) are accessible without any steps. However there are steps entering and exiting the venue to get to the bar.
