Arlington Jazz Festival Saturday night
The Samba Jazz Project will bring you to the sounds of Rio de Janeiro in the 1960's when there was an explosion of creativity combing samba and jazz. The group will perform more contemporary and original material as well.
with: Dan Fox (trombone), Yulia Musayelyan (flute), Fernando Huergo (bass), Alexei Tsiganov (piano), Rafael Barata (drums), Anna Borges (vocals), and Ian Coury (bandolin)
Morningside jazz combo will play a short set to open the show.
