Introduction to Neuromodulators and Facial Fillers
The demand for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures has grown dramatically over the last decade. Dentists, by virtue of their education, training, and experience, have an intimate knowledge of the anatomy of the face and are well positioned to offer these products and services to their patients. This course will provide an introduction to neuromodulators and cosmetic facial fillers available in the United States. This presentation will provide an overview of the various products and their clinical applications for their use. A brief review of facial analysis for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures will be described.

About the Speaker: Dr. Bradford Towne is currently a full-time faculty member at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Medical Director of OMS Ambulatory Care Services at Boston Medical Center.
This unique Boston Collaborative Group (BCG) event will feature a presentation of bylaws and slate for the BCG and an informative lecture from Dr. Towne, followed by a Q&A session. During the program, attendees will:
- Learn the available facial fillers and indications for their use. - Review the indications for use of neuromodulators. - Become familiar with the fundamental elements of facial analysis for minimally invasive procedures. - Discuss the potential complications of different types of fillers and neuromodulators. - Review Massachusetts Board of Regulations in Dentistry (BORID) rules and policies regarding fillers.
The seminar will be followed by a reception with beer, wine, and light appetizers. One drink ticket is included with your registration.
