Every wedding has its fringe characters and secondary drama. The sister of the bride is about to snap, the only guest who believes in love is a wedding crasher, the 13-year-old ring bearer has a mission, and everyone needs a change. Like a musical without singing, Big Storm brings you big dance numbers, big laughs, and really bad dating advice.
This is an in-person theatre performance at Big Storm Studio, housed within The XFactory at 6901 Lynn Way. Two banks of "alley" audience seating, with the performance happening in the middle of the space between the two audience banks. Performers will not be masked and may come as close as 3ft away from the audience. The studio is 1,400 sq ft with limited air flow, we will be running fans and opening our door before and between performances. The show includes moving and flashing lights.
Audience will be required to wear masks and show proof of vaccination at the door. Seating is limited, we will do a Wait List for sold-out shows and release no-show tickets at 7pm to the Wait List.
Shows begin at 7pm, doors open at 6:40pm. NO LATE SEATING. There is only one entrance to the studio, a loud garage door. Please plan to arrive early to give time for parking and finding the space. A team member will be at the front entrance to guide audience to the studio and check vaccination proof. Show run time approx 90 minutes.
Big Storm Studio is located in a larger building called The XFactory at 6901 Lynn Way in North Point Breeze neighborhood. There is usually a fair amount of free parking both in the loading dock in front of the building, and a row of spots on Gordon St., along with the surrounding side streets. If parking in the loading dock, do not park in the spaces directly in front of the large garage door in the middle, and do not block in someone already parked. The main entrance is a set of glass double doors at the end of a well-lit loading dock that is decorated with a beautiful graffiti-style mural.
