Workshop descriptions:

Gregson Theater:
Casts !  Masks !  MIme  !   You will make a plaster cast of your face Then a paper mache mask within the cast. Learn mime and mask performance techniques. Create your own original theater piece.

ArcheDream for Humankind (ADHK):
Exploring archetypes and stereotypes in our blacklight world, this workshop will focus on developing character/creature personas based on these concepts by way of the 'Mask & Hands' dance, which is a study how this triangle of body parts creates expression and commmunication. Using the blacklight masks and gloves from the ADHK arsenal, attendees will invent new characters and bring imaginary worlds to life.

Broken Mirror Studio:
Releasing the Ego; Mask and the Somatic Actor. Heavily influenced by the 30 year collaboration between Danish theatre maker, Per Brahe and Balinese mask maker Ida Bagus Anom, Broken Mirror Studio is thrilled to offer this incredible introductory workshop. Utilizing techniques such as Improvised Mask Exploration, Gabrielle Roths 5 Rhythms, Working Gesture, Clown Nose, Life Body, and Somatic Intuition students will guided and given multiple opportunities to confront and without judgement explore and engage with aspects of their own humanity.  Studying this work can result in a heightened understanding of self, as well as a more fluid access to emotional depths and characters. This work is fantastic for healing, expansion, and deepening your human experience. All are welcome (must be 18 years of age or older)
