Leela: The Drop-Ins, Huge, Armando Company
The Drop-ins, HUGE, and Leela's Armando Company team up for the first Leela show in 2014 on January 25th!
THE DROP-INS Based in the Bay Area, The Drop-Ins started making people laugh circa 2013 and have been doing it ever since in style, and not in style. Known for wit, hilarity, complete commitment to even the most bizarre of situations, entertainment is what The Drops do best, second only to cooking.
HUGE HUGE (Chris Libby and Anthony Veneziale) is an improvised-musical evening featuring two improvisers, two guitars and infinite possibilities. HUGE takes an audience suggestion and spins it into a brand new song on the spot, then creates scenes based off of that song. It's long form improvisation with guitars.
ARMANDO COMPANY Developed by legendary improvisor and teacher, Armando Diaz (The Magnet, NYC), The Armando Diaz Theatrical Experience is a long-form improvised structure played at improv houses across the country. The premise is simple. Truth inspires great improv. A guest monologist improvises true stories, and a cast of some of the best improvisors of the SF Bay Area improvise scenes inspired by these truths. What follows is a patchwork of truthful artistic play at its finest.
