BOOKMARKS presents: Elizabeth Gilbert
Named one of Time Magazines Most Influential People of 2008 and People of the Year for 2007, Elizabeth Gilbert is the author of the #1 New York Times Bestselling memoir, EAT,PRAY,LOVE;  the short story collection, PILGRIMS-a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award, and winner of the 1999 John C. Zacharis First Book Award from Ploughshares-and a novel, STERN MEN. THE LAST AMERICAN MAN, her biography of mountain man Eustace Conway, was a National Book Award finalist.  A Pushcart Prize winner and National Magazine Award-nominated journalist, she works as writer-at-large for GQ. Her journalism has been published in Harper's Bazaar, Spin, and The New York Times Magazine, and her stories have appeared in Esquire, Story, and the Paris Review.

General - $20- Doors open at 3:15.  Includes Conversation event, refreshments and book signing.

Premier - $95- This private reception with Ms. Gilbert begins at 2:30 PM and features an afternoon tea, a copy of STERN MEN, a book signing, and reserved seating at the Conversation event. $62.00 is tax deductible.

All titles will be available for purchase by Barnes & Noble during the event.
