JEM and Magna
Join us for a special collaboration dinner with the chef and owner of Magna, Carlo Lamagna, on February 7th. Joel and Carlo first met when they were both working in Chicago. When Joel returned to his hometown of Portland, he was thrilled to find out that Carlo had moved out to the Northwest as well. Carlo opened Magna as a restaurant that explores his roots of Filipino cuisine and community. With a strong team around him, recently Carlo was named as one of Food and Wine magazines Best New Chef's in the country, as well as the Oregonian's Restaurant of the Year.
For our collaboration dinner we will be combining our two distinct styles of cooking. While our influences may come from different places, our ethos shares the same desire to create food that is both comforting and unique. Dinner starts at 7:00 and will consist of seven courses with beverage pairings included for $150.
