CityDance Presents Robert J. Priore's "Emergence" with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company
An evening of original works by CityDance Resident Artist and Choreographer-in-Residence, Robert J. Priore. The program will feature a mix of repertory celebrating Priore's choreographic style as performed by CityDance Conservatory's highest-level students, returning alumni and guests from Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.
Priore has had the unique distinction of setting work on both a thriving conservatory, CityDance, and a renowned professional company, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.
The evening will include: a new piece commissioned by Dayton Contemporary, an ensemble piece featuring alumni, and "Os Padroes" which was set on both students and professionals. In Emergence a powerful cast of young talent will add dimension and dynamism to Priore's poignant and arresting repertory.
