PLEASE NOTE: Mystery Movie Monday begins on January 3. Tickets purchased from this point onward will be held for you at will-call, and may be picked up any time after 6pm on January 3. The film begins at 7pm.
IT'S BECOME A SENSATION!
Beginning January 3, 2022 and continuing on the first Monday of every month through May 2020, holders of the Mystery Movie Monday Pass will arrive at The Legacy Theatre for a 7pm movie. The audience won't know the title of the film is until the red velvet curtain opens on the Grand Screen!
There will be films from across the spectrum of genres: comedy, drama, suspense, musical, western, romance, or documentary (everything but horror). Films will span from the early days of the 20th century to contemporary titles.
The film series is being curated with Andy Egizi, who teaches the class, Hollywood Heritage: The Studio Age at the University of Illinois - Springfield. Following the film, Egizi will host a discussion and talk-back with the audience, about the film they have just seen.
Ratings: films created prior to 1968 are unrated; later films may be rated G, PG, PG-13, or R.
The Mystery Movie Monday Pass is $40, and will include all 5 of the movies (one per month, Jan-May) and complimentary popcorn. All films will begin at 7pm.

As you complete your transaction here, you will enter your mailing address, and your Mystery Movie Pass will be mailed to you.
General Admissioin Seating. Seats are available on a first-come basis. Doors to the theatre will open 30 minutes prior to the show. The Legacy Lounge will open 60 minutes prior to the show. The Legacy Lounge offers popcorn, candy, soda, beer and wine.

GUEST PASSES
Attendees for Mystery Movie Monday may bring a guest to the film; individual tickets for available seats are $10 at the door and include popcorn. (Subject to seating availability)

COVID PROTOCOLS
The safety of our guests and our volunteers is important to us.
Your Mystery Movie Monday Pass(es) will be MAILED TO YOU.
ALL GUESTS AGE 12 AND OLDER are REQUIRED to show ONE of the following prior to entering the theatre:
1. Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination (including 2 weeks passing since final injection).
OR
2. Proof of a negative Covid-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours prior to the event.
Guests who are unable to present either of the above documentation options WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE THEATRE.
Children under the age of 12 are NOT required to show proof of vaccination at events prior to January 21, 2022. Beginning on January 21, 2022 ALL GUESTS AGE 5 AND OLDER will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test result taken with the 72 hours prior to the event.
Guests unable to present either of the above documentation options WILL NOT RECEIVE TICKET REFUND OR EXCHANGE.
For MYSTERY MOVIE MONDAY, if a member of your party becomes symptomatic or ill, PLEASE STAY HOME. You may send a guest in your place, however your guest must show proof of vaccine/negative test as outlined herein prior to entering the theatre.
Please know that our capacity may change as state guidelines are updated.
We encourage guests to make advance ticket purchases rather than purchase at the door.
Face Coverings (masks) are REQUIRED for all guests. (State of Illinois mandate, as of 8/30/2021)
The Lobby will open 90 minutes prior to the show.
The theatre doors will open 45 min prior to the show
Guests may NOT congregate in the lobby
The Legacy Lounge (lower level) will be open for refreshments beginning at 7pm

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
The Legacy Theatre abides by "the show must go on" principle.
In the event of inclement weather, we encourage our guests to use their best judgement regarding travel to and from the performance, however we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for guests who are unable to attend. In the unlikely event that a performance is cancelled, ticket holders will be notified by email regarding refunds or exchanges.
