Moving Histories, Dancing Futures
Join Dance Theatre Group members as they celebrate a return to live performance in Moving Histories, Dancing Futures: A Festival of Dance. As part of the celebration, Dance Theatre Group has invited stellar professionals from the area to perform as part of the concert. Featured guests include Brian Frazier (hip-hop), Ruby Blyth Cameron (Irish step dance), Ananya Kurup, and Shivani Venkatesh. Also joining the production is Ohio University Professor Emeritus Bebe Miller. As part of her Ewing Funded residency, Miller will expand our knowledge of dance and its many functions as a site of transformation and celebration. Dance Theatre Group is under the direction of Sarah Skaggs and Erin Crawley-Woods.
