Film Screening: 'Access Denied?'
Produced by Emmy-winning producers/directors Jon Alpert and Matt O'Neill, Access Denied? The Fight for Corporate Accountability is a new documentary from the nonprofit group Alliance for Justice. The film tells the story of Diana Levine, a Vermont musician who lost her arm due to improper drug labeling, and the bigger story of the legal issues of federal pre-emptionthe presumption that if a medical drug or device has FDA oversight and approval, it precludes a personal from filing in state court for damages. Presented by the Town Hall Center for Civic Life and Alliance for Justice.
