Thriving Congregations - A Christian Spirituality Conference
The Rev. Tali Hairston will be the speaker at the Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church's fall Christian Spirituality Conference on Thriving Congregations, a theme that Rev. Hairston is sharing across the Seattle Presbytery. The conference will take place on Saturday, October 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in person, though masked and socially distant, at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church, 11042 Sunrise Drive NE, Bainbridge Island, WA.
Rev. Hairston is the Presbyterys Director of Community Organizing, Advocacy and Development and a member of Lake Burien Presbyterian Church near Seattle. He currently directs the Seattle Presbyterys Lilly Endowment Thriving Congregations grant program. His work with congregations began in 1998 with World Visions Vision Youth program and continued as Director of the John Perkins Center at Seattle Pacific University for 17 years. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and Fuller Seminary.
