Femina Potens 'Art of Restraint'
Femina Potens presents our first erotic rope bondage art salon The Art of Restraint. This will be an evening of decadence and erotic debauchery; champagne, strawberries, chocolate, beautiful women, shibari, restraint, and groundbreaking art. For the month of February Femina Potens Art Gallery will be exploring the theme Without Escape. Through rope, restraint, bondage and erotic performance we will be delving into our most intricate neurosis and manifesting them in an outward artistic expression of performance or installation. Utilizing materials such as rope, metal and flesh that play with the juxtaposition of freedom and restraint, indulgence and self-control. The artists will create a gallery of human sculpture through bondage, performance and installation. They will bring to life our most lush, sensual and indulgent fantasies and our darkest fears, anxieties and nightmares. The Art of Restraint will be held on Saturday February 21, 2009 8:00-11:00pm. Femina Potens members will be invited to the after hours event.
