Act II improv presents:
A Day in The Life
A day in the life is an improvised long form original from Act II improv. This show is not a comedy or purely dramatic. We hope you will find it engaging or at least thought provoking. You will get to pull back the curtain on two people during a day in their life. The people they see, the conversations they share and the actions they take or pass up. Serendipity, or just the intersection of discovery and destiny. You will see it happen for the first and only time it will ever happen.
5 improvisors, 1-night, endless possible outcomes.
Act II improv was formed by improvisational actors that believe in performing "for good". They formed Improv for Good as a way of giving back to the community, making it a central part of the troupe. While paying forward is important, they also seek to provide a creative outlet for improvisational artists to innovate and grow. Act II improv has focused developing skills to produce long-form scene based improvisation. Frequent visitors to their productions coined the phrase "... dramatically comedic" to describe how they weave their humor and dramatic reality.
