Comedians Mike Agostini and CariAnne Tillery
Mike Agostini was an usher at The Paramount Theater in 1983. That year the finals of The Seattle International Comedy Competition were held at the Paramount. The 23 year old usher briefly talked to that year's champion - Ross Shafer - and a dream was born. For the next 21 years Mike Agostini told himself that one day he would be in the competition!
In December of 2004 Mike stopped wishing and went on stage for the first time at the Tacoma Comedy Underground. Since that day he has entertained literally thousands of people with his stand-up. Mike uses his life experiences as the foundation for most of his material. He is extremely likeable and actually appears to be having as much fun as his audience!
Mike's a down-to-earth regular guy who tells hilarious stories about growing up, being married, raising kids, and fighting middle age with a vengeance! He has appeared in several films--his latest,Battle of Seattle with Woody Harrilson and Charlise Theron.
Mike was a history and art teacher in the Tacoma area for 13 years before starting his contracting company in 1997. He made his comic debut in December of 2004 and has hit the
ground literally sprinting!From his teenagers as Third World countries bit to his entry at age 44 into a Toughman
Boxing tournament you will be laughing from open to close with this comic. He is, by and large, a clean comedian who makes his audience pay attention with the use of his quick setups and surprising punch lines. Mike Agostini is a refreshing addition to the regional comic scene.
