'Fall For Fish' Outdoor Lunch-and-Learn
The Mountaineers Foundation, also known as Keta Legacy Foundation, has adapted its annual Fall for Fish benefit event in response to COVID-19. The Foundation now looks forward to gathering outdoors at the Rhododendron Preserve for a lunch-and-learn fundraiser. We are so excited to host you at our upcoming event!
Your donations during this fundraiser will support the restoration of Hidden Valley.
The Hidden Valley area of the Rhododendron Preserve is a high priority restoration site. It's taken many years of planning and support from our donors to realize a plan. Now we are putting our plan into action. We are excited to share our progress with you during a lunch-and-learn tour. While touring Hidden Valley, we will discuss the needs of the site and also look for salmon. Please join us for an informative tour.
Tours start at 10 am and 12 pm. We will gather outdoors at 2965 Seabeck Hwy NW, Bremerton, WA 98312. Small groups will be led down the trail to Hidden Valley by Foundation board members. We will stop in Hidden Valley and share our progress about the site. We will then stop at Wildcat creek and look for salmon. Professor Amy Lawrence will teach visitors about the Preserve's flora and fauna. A tasty, boxed lunch, with optional mini wine, will be provided.
Ticket options for this event:
10 am Tour - Admits one to tour Hidden Valley. Boxed lunch provided with iced tea.
10 am Tour + Wine - Admits one to tour Hidden Valley. Boxed lunch with a mini wine of A to Z Wineworks Bubbles. You must be 21 to purchase this ticket.
12 pm Tour - Admits one to tour Hidden Valley. Boxed lunch provided with iced tea.
12 pm Tour + Wine - Admits one to tour Hidden Valley. Boxed lunch provided with mini wine of A to Z Wineworks Bubbles. You must be 21 to purchase this ticket.
