Improv Studio for 7-13 year olds at Sweet Pea Cottage!

Improv: a spontaneous springboard into dramatic action! Learn how to make it up as we go along, using improvisation formats that encourage scene creation and teamwork, while focusing on basic improv fundamentals. Students will learn how to go with their impulses, instincts, and imagination while creating scenes and characters that express a wide range of emotions.

Join Kristen Rau, a Seattle impovist for a 12-week improvisational journey through characterization, group scene work and good old imagination.

Sweet Pea Cottage Afternoon Studios are an exciting space for on-going study and exploration of a specific arts discipline such as art, music, literature, drama, and dance with a professional, practicing artist as an instructor. This program as with all Sweet Pea Cottage programs, is filled with adventure and enjoyment in a supportive and enlightening environment. There is also quiet time for students to do their homework and have homework assistance.
