Due to the on going pandemic, Red Corner Benefit will look a bit different this year and be a day of music on the lawn. There will be no kids games or activities. No entertainment other than the bands on stage and our traditional past recipients' updates

* NO FOOD OR DRINKS will be included. *
* THIS IS A BYOE (bring your own EVERYTHING: food, drinks, chairs, etc.) EVENT. *

Raffles will close at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 16. Winners should be notified by 7:30 pm via email. Pick up times at Red Corner (465 Red Corner Rd. Douglassville, PA) will be as follows:
Saturday, October 16 7:30 - 9:30 pm
Sunday, October 17 12:00 - 3:00 pm
Monday, October 18 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Tuesday, October 19 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Wednesday, October 20 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Sweet little Ellie Makarevitz and her family need our help, but the benefit must be modified due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.

Ellie was born with a tumor on her tailbone a sacrococcygeal teratoma. The doctors told her mom Missy and dad Greg theyre generally benign. They were never told that it should be removed. No follow-up surgery was scheduled. So Missy and Greg didnt think too much about it, or understand the danger it posed. You see, these tumors can turn malignant at any time. Babies born with them usually have their coccyx (tailbone) removed with the tumor to prevent reoccurrence. Now, 2-year-old Ellie and her family are facing a cancer diagnosis. Her tumor became malignant, metastasized and grew to 5 cm. A recent CT scan at CHOP showed 10 spots on her lungs. The doctors at CHOP performed a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis and stage of her cancer, and put a port into her small body for chemo treatments. This family could really use your support and prayers right now. On top of Ellies health concerns and treatment needs, shes a brand-new big sister to preemie twins! While insurance *should* cover medical bills, there are extra costs at a time when their income is suffering. Missy is on bedrest and Greg has been calling out from work a lot. If youd like to help this family out at this stressful time, it would truly be appreciated.

*RAFFLE- This year we will be hosting a virtual raffle where you will be able to purchase tickets via your phone. Duration of online raffle will be 10/10-10/16. Raffles will be drawn online at 7PM on 10/16. It will take roughly 1/2 hour or so for people to be notified. If people are in attendance we are encouraging them to pick up the raffle that night.
***While our entertainment is limited this year we will still have the amazing Hoop Mistresses performing with a few new stunts and the amazing fireworks show from International Fireworks of Douglassville, PA!

-GENERAL PARKING will be in both front fields on either side of driveway. Please drive slow as the ground has many bumps!!
Dogs- unfortunately, we have to ask that you do not bring your dog(s) to the event. With the ever-increasing crowd and many children we are unable to accommodate pets. Thank you for understanding.
