2014 Cocktails for a Cause
Cocktails for a Cause is Dr. Rebecca Schoonover's annual fundraiser supporting the Lackawanna Blind Association and blindness research.
This annual event is held each fall in the greater Scranton, PA area. A $45 donation entitles guests to samplings from the area's finest restaurants including Andy Gavin's Eatery & Pub and an open bar, including martinis made from recipes direct from New York City, Miami and Boston. There is live musical entertainment. Guests may also purchase chances to win lavish raffle baskets.
Proceeds benefit the Lackawanna Blind Association and Research to Prevent Blindness, the leading supporter of eye research directed at the prevention, treatment and eradication of all diseases that threaten vision.
