The Jazz Workshop with Robin and Rose
The Jazz Workshop is a six piece Jazz ensemble from Portland that is dedicated to creative expression in the Jazz idiom. John Clark on bass, Tracy McMullen on sax, Frank Mauceri on sax, Carl Dimow on flute, Glenway Fripp on piano, and Peter McLaughlin on drums bring their talents together from rich backgrounds in Jazz, Classical, Klezmer and Rock to interpret Jazz standards by Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk and the Blue Note years. The band also plays original jazz compositions written by the individuals of the ensemble, for the ensemble.
