Sep. 26, 2021, at 6:30pm PT

To accommodate evolving public health recommendations regarding COVID-19, we are adopting a hybrid virtual-and-in-person festival model for 2021. VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON, and HYBRID (virtual AND in-person) Festival Passes are available here.

Special Events at Local Sightings 2021 are only available in-person.

 HOW TO WATCH IN-PERSON
Purchase your ticket through Brown Paper Tickets; come to the show!
You can also purchase a ticket on the day of the screening at Northwest Film Forums box office (1515 12th Ave, Seattle).
If you have purchased a Hybrid or In-Person-Only Festival Pass, well be able to look you up at Will Call by the name you purchased under.

*** Public safety notice ***

NWFF patrons will be required to wear face coverings while in the building. To be admitted, patrons ages 12+ will also be required to present EITHER proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative result from a COVID-19 test administered within the last 48 hours by an official testing facility.

NWFF is adapting to evolving recommendations to protect the public from COVID-19. Read more about their policies regarding cleaning, masks, and capacity limitations at bit.ly/nwffcovidsafety

Festival - Local Sightings Film Festival 2021: Special Events

Visiting Artist
** This special event features a pre-show happy hour, live Q&A with the filmmakers, and a short musical performance by Benjamin Hunter! **

About
Dedicated to the future memory of white supremacy, Manifest Destiny Jesus is a clever Seattle-area documentary which juxtaposes interviews with artists, religious figures, and community members to examine the links between the historically dubious representation of Jesus as white, the crucifixion, lynching, police brutality, and gentrification. It finds inspiration in a transracial family, a sermon by a Black female theologian, and a uniquely integrated Seattle congregation.

Accessibility

Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter. The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject! If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Executive Director Vivian Hua at vivian@nwfilmforum.org
