2021 Girdwood Fungus Fair Mushroom Cultivation Workshops
Join Allison and Gabe, the owners of Far North Fungi on a workshop aimed at growing your own mushrooms at home!
Saturday's workshop:
Log cultivation:
Shiitake spawn will be used to innoculate birch logs for folks to take home. This workshop includes a 30 minute lecture, instructed log time, and unlimited Q&A. Please no pets and dress for the weather as this will be outdoors.
Sunday's workshop:
This is a 2 hour mushroom intensive. Theyll bring a mobile lab where you can create your own blue oyster mushroom kits. This workshop includes a 30 minute lecture, instructed lab time, and unlimited Q&A. Please no pets and wear clean clothes for lab time.
