Crowbait Club Presents: King of Crows IX
Crowbait Club Presents: King of Crows IX

We were able to have three of our Theatre Deathmatchs before the world was enveloped and brought to a standstill. During April 2020 we considered the matter and decided to take the show to Zoom courtesy of general all around wizard Victoria Stubbs. It changed some but, lo and behold, with a bit of promo and some improvisation with the rules, we returned.

And so did the playwrights and so did the actors. What did they create?

These 10 minute plays run the gamut from pure comedy to heart breaking tragedy with all manner of stops in between.

A political candidate who has never been seen runs for office. Two vampires compete at a job interview. A goat who happens to be a marriage counselor treats his patients with a dance. Plus, it turns out that after all the threats of fire and brimstone Hell is a pretty mundane place

And in a first for us, a play from out of state is produced by CBC, Cary Peppers sinister The Voice of the People.

And much much more.

Ladies and Gentlemen: The plays and playwrights of King of Crows IX:
