Fourmile Watershed Bio-Blitz 2021
DATE: 08/28/2021 TIME: 9am-2:30pm
The Fourmile Bio-blitz event will be led by the Boulder Watershed Collective in partnership with Left Hand Watershed Center.
Participants will meet in Boulder.
As a participant you have the chance to collect meaningful data, take a mini watershed tour, and learn from local watershed coalition staff and watershed scientists.
We will take a break at lunch time and participants will enjoy a free individually packaged lunch. Science leaders will lead participants in an engaging discussion about how the data collection efforts will help contribute to larger understanding of watershed health and recovery from 2013 flood.
For the Bioblitz, please wear clothes you do not mind getting wet and dirty. Dressing like you're going on a rafting trip works well! We also have a few pairs of waders for volunteers to use. You also have the option to stay dry on shore. Please bring a refillable water bottle and sun protection as well.
Your event host is Boulder Watershed Collective staff member Cat Price, Cat@boulderwatershedcollective.org; 903-235-7754. Please reach out to Cat with questions!
