Science promised hope; possibility, freedom, a new beginning. The future is promise, a promise broken by war. World War 3 took a toll on all nations, leaving a pile of bodies and an insatiable desire for peace in its wake.

When the war ended, borders dissolved, and survivors multiplied. The government, no longer national but international, attempted to neutralize population growth and failed. Extermination is imminent. There is no tomorrow.
