PLATINUM XIX DINNER
The Yakima Enological Society has our 19th Annual Platinum event scheduled for October 9th, 2021 at the Yakima Country Club. At this time, assuming things go as planned, we believe that this years Platinum dinner, delayed by the pandemic in 2020, will be a great opportunity to meet friends and enjoy great wines once again.
Some of the highlights for 2021 will be:
During the Winemakers Reception we will be pouring eight wines, all of them are Double platinum winners.
The five-course dinner will feature Platinum award winners paired with a menu that is still in development. The wine courses this year will include: Viognier, Pinot Noir, Red Blends, Syrah and finally a Late Harvest Riesling and a Riesling Ice-wine.
Call your friends and start putting your table together as we expect another sell out event. An early registration form will be in the June newsletter. Remember that all the money raised at this event goes to scholarships for Pacific Northwest students studying Enology or Viticulture. Your attendance will support the wine industry, wineries, and winemakers of the Pacific Northwest.
